From the Principal's Desk
Dear Families,
Welcome to Thomas Jefferson Charter School! We are honored that you have chosen TJCS and are excited to partner with you in your child’s educational journey.
At TJCS, we are committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential. We combine a rigorous, accelerated curriculum with a culture that values kindness, respect, perseverance, and personal growth. We believe that when students feel safe, supported, and challenged, they thrive academically and personally.
Our dedicated team includes 24 certificated teachers, 14 of whom hold master’s degrees or higher. With an average of 16 years of classroom experience, our teachers bring both expertise and passion to their work. Ten of our teachers have been part of the TJCS family for more than 13 years, reflecting the strong sense of community and commitment that makes our school special. Together, our 45 staff members serve 340 students in grades K–12.
One of the things we love most about our roles as administrators is the opportunity to spend time in classrooms, hallways, and the lunchroom, interacting with students and teachers every day. There is nothing more rewarding than watching students gain confidence, discover new abilities, and celebrate their successes. We are continually inspired by the enthusiasm, curiosity, and determination we see throughout our school.
We value the partnership between home and school and recognize the important role families play in a child’s education. Your support, involvement, and communication help create the strong foundation our students need to succeed. We encourage you to reach out with questions, ideas, or concerns, and we always welcome parent volunteers.
TJCS is more than a school—it is a community dedicated to helping students grow academically, socially, and personally. We are grateful to have you as part of that community and look forward to getting to know your family throughout the year.
Thank you for being part of the TJCS family. We look forward to an exciting year of learning, growth, and achievement together.
Warm Regards,
Jodi Endicott & Amy Pfaff
